MULTI SKILLED ENGINEERS - ELEC OR MECH BIAS - SCOT



Our client are a leading player within the food manufacturing industry with sites situated all around the UK. We are currently looking to recruit 2 or 3 Multi Skill Electrical OR mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineers.



Within the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be working a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern and will be responsible for all reactive and PPM (planed preventative maintenance) for the site, ensure plant availability, record and help resolve root causes for breakdowns and failures and identify cost effective solutions and support to the production department to ensure effective performance of all plant equipment. You will also be involved in continuous improvement projects, work to company hygiene and environmental regulations, project work and manage and work with contractors brought onto the site.



Ideally you will be a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer and have served an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline - must be qualified ELEC BIAS ONLY or Mechanical bias with good electrical skills. You will also have the 16th Edition certificate, have experience working within a food environment ideally however not essential. You will also have experience of risk assessments, method statements, work permits, single and three phase systems and ideally experience of refrigeration, steam, control systems, welding and pneumatics, boilers cookers and much more...
